I don't like to throw anything i think i can "repurpose" away. I think this is such a cute idea and had to try it! :)

I decorated the box and then used stamped address labels to surround the wrapper of hershey treasures. As you can see, 4 treasures fit in the box perfectly! It's a nice little treat :)

I love that there is wording for just about everything in the Trendy Greetings set! I get so much use out of that one...definately worth the cost!

By taking a look through the fall supplement, it looks like prices will be going up for the next catalogue.... i think 19.95 sets will be going up to 21.95. It's not a huge difference, but it is a difference.

The snow is melting.... yea!!!!!!!!

I am involved in a secret swap and I am having a blast! It is very fun and I look forward to a little suprise in my mailbox 2 times a month :)

Another recycled project :)

I always get asked if the dishes in the dishwasher are clean... well now everyone will know :)
This is such a fun and easy project! I used a cd (that i got in the mail and normally throw away). I covered it with paper, diecut the letters, and added some eyelets. I have to say that i LOVE my crop-a-dile! It punched right through this cd with such ease! I have to say another THANK YOU to my wonderful hubby for getting me this wonderul tool for our anniversary! :)

Recycle-Repurpose?

Hello!

I take a great deal of pride in the number of things my family puts in recycling bins each week. Recently we have been trying to find uses for things we would normally throw away. We have used diaper wipe container to organize crayons and markers. We have sorted out all the broken crayons in the house and melted them down to make big multi-colored crayons and I have found a fun use for something I would normally throw in the recycling bin.... can you guess what it is?

I would also love to hear what you what items you re-purpose when you are stamping and scrapping! :)

It's the little things.....

As I scrap and stamp today I find myself using one of my favorite products yet again. Those of you that have been to one of my stamp camps probably know what I am referring to....... Stickles!
I love those little bottles of glitter glue! I own every color. If you have not yet tried them... it's a must! They add a little sparkle to your work and are so easy to use and the best part...they are only 2.25 ( pg 123)!!!!! You know those times when you are so close to getting a GWP stamp and only are a couple dollars away??? Next time add a Stickles... you won't regret it! :)

Fun friendship card

I had some fun yesterday with this cute card that I made and sent to some of my friends. I sent the card just so they know that I appreciate them :)

I started with white cardstock, then used the TAC set "backgrounders" to add the pawprints. I used the chalk inkpads TAC carried last year because I have sevearl of them and can't make sense of getting rid of them, but there is a new line in the TAC catalog this year that are much better quality. I love chalk pads because they have a nice subtle look to them yet provide a great amount of color. I stamped the main image from the TAC set "Friendly note" then colored it in with the chalk inkpads and watercolor pens. To make the colors "pop" i layered the main image with brown and pink. I added a little white ribbon to the side to add a little more character to the card :)
